Cancellation Policy

Written in plain English. This document describes, accurately, how the product actually works. The corporate details — legal entity, state of incorporation, registered address and governing law — are settled and stated in the Terms of Service. There is nothing to cancel.
Bellcow does not sell a subscription. The Season Pass is one payment of $19.99 that unlocks the product through January 5, and then stops. We do not keep a card on file. Nothing auto-renews. There is no recurring charge sitting in your account waiting to catch you out next August — so there is no cancel button, because there is nothing for one to do.
That is the entire policy. The rest of this page explains what it means in practice, and covers the handful of things people actually want when they go looking for a cancel button.
How the Season Pass works
- You pay $19.99 once, on Stripe's checkout page.
- Your account unlocks immediately — unlimited leagues, trade sniper, championship odds, morning digests, everything.
- Access runs to 23:59:59 UTC on January 5 following your purchase. A purchase made January 1–5 covers the season that is already ending.
- On January 6 your account quietly becomes inactive. No email chasing you, no charge, no lapse notice, no dark pattern.
- If you want another season next year, you buy another pass. Deliberately, with a click, when you decide to.
Why we say this out loud
"Nothing to cancel" is a phrase people have learned to distrust, because it is usually the answer you get when a company has buried the cancel flow six screens deep. So here is the concrete version: we have no stored payment method for you, and no Stripe subscription object attached to your account. Even if we wanted to charge you again, we would have to send you back to checkout and get you to enter a card. The absence of a cancel button is the product working as designed, not a door we quietly locked.
How to stop using Bellcow
Whichever of these you actually came here for:
Stop the emails
Open the app, go to Settings → Notifications and turn the morning digest off. It stops that morning. You can also reply to any digest and ask us to turn it off for you. Sign-in codes and purchase receipts are transactional — you will still get those when you ask for them, because they are the only way to sign in and to prove what you bought.
Disconnect a league
Delete the league in the app. That removes it from your synced data on our side, not just from your screen. If you connected Yahoo, use Disconnect on the Yahoo card; your Yahoo tokens are held in your browser only, and disconnecting deletes them from it. We never held a copy.
Sign out
Signing out clears the session stored in this browser. Your leagues stay in your account and come back when you sign in again on any device. See Security for what signing out does and does not do to the session token.
Delete your account and all your data
Email support@bellcowgm.com from the address on your account with the subject Delete my account. We remove your records from every store that holds them — account, leagues, preferences, entitlement, alerts and any pending sign-in code — and confirm when it is done. Details and timing are in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account does not refund a pass by itself. If you want both, say so in the same email and we will handle them together under the Refund Policy.
How access actually ends

Legacy monthly subscriptions
One honest exception, because it would be wrong to leave it out of a page titled "Cancellation". A small number of accounts from an earlier version of the product hold a legacy monthly Stripe subscription. Bellcow still honours those while they are active — and because they are genuine Stripe subscriptions, they do renew until they are cancelled.
If that is you:
- Email support@bellcowgm.com and we will cancel it for you, same day in most cases.
- Cancelling stops all future charges. Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for, then the account becomes inactive.
- You can also cancel through any Stripe customer portal link on your original receipt.
- No new subscriptions are being sold. If you buy today, you get the one-time Season Pass and none of this applies to you.
If we cancel
We may suspend or close an account for the reasons set out in the Terms — abuse, fraud, or attempts to access other people's data. If we discontinue Bellcow entirely mid-season, we refund the unused portion of every active Season Pass pro rata, without anyone having to ask.
