Connect the league
Sleeper takes a username. ESPN takes a league ID. Yahoo comes in through a War Room draft file or a roster paste. From Sleeper and ESPN, Bellcow pulls every roster, your exact scoring rules, the schedule, waiver settings and FAAB balances. Your league data stays private
Your email, your leagues, your preferences, and the records the product needs to run — your sync history, the alerts it generated, any support ticket you open. Every one of them is named on the privacy page, and nothing is held that isn't on that list. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, no session recorders. We don't sell or share your data, and your league is never used to train anyone's AI models. We store no passwords at all — not ours and not your fantasy platform's, because Bellcow never asks for one.
Bellcow never touches your roster
Read-only, always, on every platform. Bellcow does not submit a lineup, place a waiver claim, send a trade or drop a player for you — it has no ability to. It tells you the exact move and you make it yourself in a few taps. There is no “auto-manage” mode and no way to turn one on.
How current the numbers are
Projections, values and rankings rebuild every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Bellcow re-checks injury, depth-chart and NFL roster data every 15 minutes — every 5 on Sundays, but it can only ever be as current as the source: the official injury report publishes about three times a week, so a Sunday-morning downgrade usually will not reach you before kickoff. Every screen carries the age of the data behind it, measured against the clock right now, and confidence drops automatically when a feed goes stale.
What the AI can and can't do
Every number is computed by our own engine. The language model is handed those results and allowed to do one thing: put them into a sentence. It cannot produce a projection, a status or a value, and when the engine has no answer it says so. Projections are estimates and they are sometimes wrong — we publish how often. Nobody can guarantee you a championship, and we never will.

Most fantasy tools are a clean interface on somebody else's projections — licensed consensus rankings, or whatever a platform's API hands over. Bellcow computes its own, from what players actually did on the field, using open data we are licensed to use commercially. Nobody can switch our brain off. The models learned from the 2022–2024 seasons and never saw 2025. Then we replayed 2025 week by week — weeks 2 through 17, sixteen weeks in all; week 1 has no in-season form to read yet, and the final week is left out — showing the engine only what existed at that moment: no hindsight, no peeking at the result it was being asked to predict. Every player who was on a roster that week is graded, including the ones who got hurt later in the year. That is a much harder test than the ones most projections quietly grade themselves on.
It sees the breakout early
Quiet players our breakout engine ranked highest went on to average 5.8 points a game over the next three weeks. The ones it ranked lowest averaged 3.6. It reads rising snaps, targets and red-zone work — so it can flag a role change before the box score shows one.
And the fade before it happens
Players it flagged as scoring above their real workload lost 3.7 points a game over the following three weeks, against −1.1 for the players it scored lowest on the same scale. Touchdown luck runs out. The engine is looking at the volume underneath it.
Every number shows its work
“Snap share up 14 points. Moved RB3 to RB2. The starter ahead of him is questionable.” Those reasons come from the engine, not from a chatbot. The AI is only ever allowed to put them into a sentence — it cannot invent one, and it will tell you when it doesn't know.

Which platforms actually work?
Sleeper connects instantly with a username or league link. ESPN connects with a league ID, and private leagues take the two cookies your browser already has. Yahoo comes in through a draft file or a roster paste today — direct Yahoo sign-in is pending their API approval, and the connect screen tells you exactly that instead of pretending. Worth knowing: your platform only supplies the league — who owns whom, your scoring, your schedule. None of them supply the football analysis. That part is ours, which is why Bellcow gives you the same quality of answer no matter where you play.
Is this just ChatGPT with a cow on it?
No, and the difference is structural rather than a matter of opinion. Every number — projections, lineup optimization, FAAB sizing, trade evaluation, championship odds — comes from engines that compute the same answer every time from your league's real data. The language model is handed those results and allowed to do one job: put them into a sentence. It cannot produce a projection, a player's status, or a value. Ask it something the engine has no answer for and it will tell you it does not know, which is the part the chat-wrapper apps cannot do.
Will it tell me to do something dumb?
It refuses to recommend a player who is already owned, and it will never bid more FAAB than you have. A starter who is out, on bye or carrying a designation is flagged at the top of your plan with the replacement you already own — Bellcow shows you the problem rather than quietly reshuffling your lineup. Where it isn't confident, it says so. And when your roster is genuinely optimal, it tells you that rather than manufacturing a move to look busy.
Where do the projections actually come from?
We build them. Bellcow ingests play-by-play, snap counts, depth charts, injury reports and schedule data from nflverse — an open NFL dataset published under a licence that permits commercial use — plus live trade-market values from Stats Guy Fantasy. From that it computes expected points, weekly and rest-of-season projections, breakout scores and player values itself. We do not license anyone's consensus rankings, and we do not resell a fantasy platform's numbers. Every source is registered with its licence and checked in code before its data is allowed anywhere near a recommendation.
How do I know the projections are any good?
Because we tested them in a way that cannot flatter us, and published the result. The models learned from 2022 through 2024 and never saw the 2025 season. We then replayed 2025 week by week, showing the engine only the information that existed at that moment — no hindsight. Running backs came out at 4.5 points of average weekly error with a 0.73 rank correlation; receivers 4.3 and 0.66. The full table is further up this page, and the longer version — including what the table does not measure — is on the methodology page. It gets re-measured every season, and if a change makes it worse, the change does not ship.
Does it work with my league size and format?
Yes. Bellcow reads however many teams your league actually has — 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 — along with your exact roster slots, bench depth, flex and superflex configuration, PPR setting and scoring rules. Nothing is assumed. Replacement level, positional scarcity and FAAB sizing are all recalculated for your specific league, which is why a waiver claim that matters in a 14-team league gets ignored in a shallow 8-teamer.
What happens on January 5?
Access ends and the account drops back to free. Nothing charges again. If you want the next season, you buy the next season.
Do you touch my fantasy account?

Is there anything to cancel?

On January 5 access ends by itself and the account becomes inactive — you keep your account, your leagues and your data, and you can still sign in, but the product does not run until a pass is active. We store your email, the leagues you connect, your preferences and whether you hold a pass. Running the product adds a few more records tied to that account: your sync history, the alerts Bellcow generated for you, the accuracy receipts for its own past calls, any support ticket you open, and a push subscription if you switch notifications on. The privacy policy names every one of them. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies. We store no passwords at all, ours or your fantasy platform's, because Bellcow never asks for one, and we never see your card number. How fresh is the information?
Projections, values and rankings rebuild every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Bellcow re-checks injury, depth-chart and NFL roster data every 15 minutes, and every 5 minutes during Sunday kickoff windows — more often than that in the ninety minutes before kickoff. That is how often we ask; it is not how often the answer changes. The official injury report we read publishes roughly three times a week, so a designation that moves on Sunday morning will usually not reach you before kickoff — the answer Bellcow has at 11:45am Sunday is generally the one it had on Friday. We measure this and publish the real age of every source on the status page rather than only the polling interval. Every screen shows the age of the data behind it, measured against the clock right now rather than whenever it was published, and plan confidence drops automatically when a feed goes stale. Two honest limits: breaking-news and practice-report discovery is built but switched off pending a per-site terms review, and there is no commercial inactives feed behind the product — so Bellcow cannot see a scratch announced 90 minutes before kickoff. Can you guarantee I'll win my league?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Bellcow is decision support: it prices your options consistently, shows its working and admits when a difference is too small to call. Fantasy football is played by people and decided by things no model sees coming. Our accuracy is published, re-measured every season, and lower in some places than we'd like — the quarterback and kicker rows especially.
