A guided tour of Bellcow
Ten screens, no account, no card · last updated 25 August 2026
This is a guided tour, not a live sandbox. A working sandbox would need a real league behind it, and we would rather show you honest screens than fake an interactive product. Everything below is the real layout, the real wording and the real rules, filled with a made-up league called Cornfield Coalition and players who do not exist. No customer's league was used to build this page. If you want to see the product against a real roster, get the Season Pass and connect your league — that takes about a minute.
Connecting a league
Sleeper takes a username. ESPN takes a league ID — private leagues use the two cookies your own browser already has. Yahoo and War Room come in through a draft file or a roster paste, and you can always paste a roster by hand. Bellcow pulls every roster in the league, your exact scoring rules, your lineup slots, the schedule, the waiver system and the FAAB balances.
Read-only. Bellcow never submits a lineup, a claim or a trade for you, on any platform. There is nowhere in the product to type a fantasy-platform password, because it never asks for one.
MEASURED: 2.4–4.9 SECONDS ON A REAL 12-TEAM LEAGUE
If your league is in a format Bellcow doesn't model well — IDP, best ball, dynasty, guillotine — the connect screen says so instead of quietly giving you bad advice.
Today's bells
This is the product. Three moves, ranked by what each does to your championship odds, each with the exact player, the exact drop and — in a FAAB league — the exact bid. If nothing is worth doing, it says that instead of inventing busywork.

Every card opens into the full reasoning: what changed in his usage, who else in your league needs that position, what your league has actually been paying on waivers, and a plain “how” line you can follow on your platform in a few taps.
The full version of this screen, card by card, is on the sample GM plan page.
The herd
Every team in your league ranked by roster strength rather than win-loss record, with each manager's weakest position and their surplus. Standings lie early: a 2–0 team with a thin bench is a seller who doesn't know it yet, and that's who you trade with.
4–1 · 3 trades madeWR118.4
3–2 · that's youTE114.9
4–1 · aggressive on FAABRB111.2
1–4 · quiet managerRB surplus108.7
Positional strength is measured against the league average under your scoring, not against a generic ranking — which is why the same roster can be “surplus at RB” in one league and “average” in another.
The lineup optimizer
Your best lineup against your league's real bye weeks, injuries and this week's opponent — not a generic start/sit column that doesn't know your bench. It refuses to start anyone who is out or on a bye, and it shows what the change does to your win probability, not just to your projected points.
Making both changes: +4.7 projected points, and win probability 54% → 59% against Harvest Hooligans.
The third tab is the one nobody else offers. If you are projected to lose, Bellcow will find the higher-variance lineup that raises your win probability even though it lowers your median score — because finishing second in a two-person matchup is worth nothing.
Waivers, with a real number on it
Not “consider adding a tight end”. A dollar figure, sized both to what you have left and to what your league has actually been paying this season — and never larger than your remaining budget.
Marcus Ollenberg · TE · DEN
Your league's winning bids run $9 median, $21 at the high end across 34 claims — the ladder above is sized against that, not against a generic percentage of budget.
Drop: Reggie Vance (lowest rest-of-season value on your bench, and not in any optimal lineup). Competition: two rivals are thin at TE and have the budget.
In a rolling-priority league there is no dollar figure at all. You get a claim order and a straight answer on whether the move is worth burning your #1.
The trade sniper
It scans every roster in your league for players worth more to you than to the manager holding them — then finds the piece you can send back that makes their starting lineup better too. If no such piece exists, the row is dropped rather than dressed up.
for Terrance Bly · they need WR, you need RB+2.4+1.164%
for Jonah Speare · marginal both ways+0.9+0.441%
Both columns are points per week added to each side's starting lineup — not a trade-chart value, which is what lets a deal look “fair” while helping nobody. Acceptance is modeled from the other manager's needs, depth and trade history; treat it as an ordering, not a promise.
Title odds
Playoff, bye and championship odds from 1,500 simulated seasons of your remaining schedule, rebuilt on every sync — and the path to raise them.
15.2% championship
Fix tight end and you pass Harvest Hooligans on roster strength. It is the only position where the herd is beating you.
Changes are measured against the simulation's own margin of error, so a move that can't be told apart from zero is reported as “too close to call” rather than given a flattering decimal. Where your platform doesn't expose a matchup schedule — Yahoo, War Room and pasted leagues — the odds use a modelled balanced round-robin and Data Health says so.
Ask Bellcow
A chat that already knows your league — every roster, the free-agent pool, opponent needs and your season simulation. It answers from Bellcow's engine, not from a general knowledge of football, and it says so when it doesn't know.
Probably yes, and there's a specific deal. Rawls is your RB2 and RB is your second-strongest position; TE is your weakest and the gap to the league average there is the largest on your roster. Harvest Hooligans are thin at WR and deep at the position you need.
The concrete version is on your board: Rawls for Terrance Bly. Your starting lineup gains 2.4 points a week, theirs gains 1.1, and the modelled title-odds change is +2.2 points (±0.9).
I don't have a projected snap share for him. The engine projects carries, targets, yards and touchdowns, and it reports observed snap share from past weeks — it doesn't forecast snap share as a number. I'm not going to make one up. His observed share over the last three weeks was 61%, 66%, 64%.
That second answer is the whole design. The assistant is handed computed results and allowed to write sentences about them. It cannot produce a projection, a status or a value, and when the engine has no answer, neither does it.
Data health
The page that tells you whether to trust today's plan. Every source, how old it actually is right now, and what is honestly not live.
Overall confidence: HIGH — the engine scores the players in your current plan at 91/100 on data completeness, capped by data age.
This page also flags things about your league rather than our feeds: a league that imported without scoring settings, a FAAB budget that had to be inferred, or a schedule that had to be modelled. Full data coverage →
The morning digest
One email during the season, carrying the same plan the app shows — per league, with the exact bid and the exact drop. No general NFL news. If a league has nothing worth doing, it says so instead of padding.
